Under no circumstances should the vehicle be left unattended with the top down due to the unpredictability of weather, including the possibility of rain. This precaution extends to valet parking as well - the top must always be closed. Rainwater has the potential to cause permanent harm to the vehicle's electrical components, leather seats, and carpeting.
